I’d invite you into my studio if you were here and you’d see a few jeweler’s benches adorned with worn hand tools, funny looking eye wear, hammers and anvils galore and the jeweler’s torch- the workhorse in this handmade jewelry business. You’d look out the windows to a small Aspen field with not a house in sight, but many deer visitors throughout the day. It’s a simple and perfect shared space with two other inspiring and talented jewelers. We work independently but rely on each other for jeweler chatter and inspirational pulls. This is where the magic is made…all right here.

Having hailed from Rhode Island, North Western Montana quickly became the most impressive nature I had ever seen. I spent my young 20’s hiking and working in Glacier National Park in the summers and using the shoulder seasons to travel, see the U.S. and see the world. I fell in love with nature, hiking, backpacking and living a very simple life while building relationships with people from all over the world.
Although my BA is in Psychology, my heart has always been in the Arts. Trust me when I say I can’t live without a creative outlet. When I packed up a backpack to live in Alaska for the summer, I traveled with paints, glue, crafting supplies, guitar and every C.D. I owned (this dates me, I know). My one-man tent was a full artistic palace!

The essence of me is in simplicity. I don’t care for an over complicated and underthought life. This theme threads through my diverse jewelry line. Pieces are made by hand, one at a time in an eco-friendly studio. I use recycled metals and ethically sourced, fair-trade gemstones and I have a mission to keep seeking U.S companies that can trace stones from mine to market. I use recycled packaging and put a lot of thought into how I can convey and sell my Art without leaving a big ol’ carbon footprint.

I’m inspired by so many things in the world around me. I am often pulling over on the side of the road to sketch out a design or waking in the middle of the night to search for a sketch pad. I’m hyper-aware of small subtleties and line composition in nature, on people, and in the man-made world. Inspiration also comes from clients; I often feel guided to design from their personal stories. My favorite designs are the ones born by chance, a random piece of metal sitting a certain way…and then I see a whole entire design! I usually stop everything I’m doing and go with it…these are my favorite creative passages. Born in the moment, it becomes an unstoppable passion to create and convey a small vision.

Thank you for looking at my ever-evolving work. Please check out my stockiest/schedule page for information on how to see the work in person. I also post weekly, in the moment designs, on social media.
